Gunvant Thakor says “My parents are my inspiration and I won’t let them down”

Gunvant Thakor is a renowned producer-director of the Gujarati Music and Film Industry. He was born in Lhor in the Mehsana District and then his family moved to the city life of Thaltej, Ahmedabad where his parents worked hard to strengthen their financial crisis. They wanted Gunvant to complete his studies and lead a better life. He soon finished his studies and started working with an organization 12 km away from his place. Gunvant would walk for 12kms to save money and aimed to achieve his ultimate goal.

He has been an aspiring art lover who wanted to focus on delivering great work through his production and directorial skills. With time he worked hard to save money and finally opened his first production venture called “Jiggar Studio.” He was able to have a great married life alongside his son. His past work includes Tuto Sajan Mara Kadje Korani co-produced with Vikram Thakor, Preet Jhuke Nahi Saath Chhute Nahi, Tu Mari Nai To Koini Nai and Prem Ni Majburi, Nandlala and Jiv Hatheli Par Muki Didho Tara Re Bharose, and many more. A few famous faces he has worked with include Vikram Rathor, Jignesh Kaviraj, Aakash Thakor, Naresh Kanodiya, Hiten Kumar, Hitu Kanodiya, Firoz Irani, Rajdeep Barot, and Rakesh Barot amongst others.

Gunvant Thakor mentioned, “I alongside my parents have seen a lot of hardship and that is the biggest reason for all the hard work I do so that my next generation does not have to worry about. Though I always tell my son that nothing can replace hard work and achieve anything, hard work pays off better than any other shortcuts. I am so that my parents always wanted a better life for me and they worked day and night to ensure my comfort. My parents are my inspiration and I won’t let them down.”
