JP THE NEXT BIG THING

My name is Jordan Patterson, I go by the name JP. I am 23 years old from Milwaukee, WI. I have been recording music for about 3/4 years but I have never released an official project. Until recently, I’ve dropped my 1st single “THICK SKIN” now available on Apple Music, Spotify, & YouTube.

I started doing music in college. I attended the University of WI Parkside & I majored in Communication with a concentration in Broadcasting. Originally I did not intend to do music but, after a couple of studio sessions I fell in love.

In the year 2011 I was diagnosed with kidney dysfunction. I was out on dialysis immediately after I found out the news. In 2012 I was blessed to have a kidney transplant. My mother was the donor for my kidney. In 2015 I was put back on dialysis & have been on it ever since. I am currently waiting on a new kidney.

Having kidney dysfunction does sadden me but, recording in the studio brings me positivity, peace, & joy. I have not always been the best at feeling my feelings and expressing my emotions. Being in the studio brings me comfort and allows me to genuinely express my emotions.

In my free time I enjoy hanging out with my friends, playing video games, & listening to music. My mission is to create music to impact the world while being authentic, original, & by genuinely being myself. I would love to show the world what “ JP” is truly capable of and break barriers that have never been broken before. Also show the people in my city that you can make it by being you & believing in yourself!
